Privacy
What is stored, and who sees it.
Short version: when you request an early-access run, I keep what you typed so I can reply. Only I see it, and I delete it when you ask.
What is stored
When you send the early-access request form, these are stored, and nothing else:
- your email address;
- the link to the report you'd bring;
- your two optional answers: who will see the visual, and what you used last time;
- the channel you came from, if the link you followed carried one (for example
?ref=x); - the time you ticked the consent box;
- when you first asked, how many times you have sent the form, and which version of the site you used.
If you send the form again with the same email, your newest answers are kept alongside your first ones (your first link and answers, and the first channel, are never replaced), with a short history of your last five report links and when you sent them.
Not stored: your IP address (it is used for a moment to stop floods of requests, then dropped), your browser or device, or anything about your visit. Cloudflare's request logs are switched off for this form. The one exception: if a request is blocked for sending too many, Cloudflare's security log records that block, including its IP address, for a limited time.
Why
To reply to you about your early-access run, and to count which channels requests come from, so I know where to talk about FactFrame. Nothing else: no newsletter, no ads, no selling or sharing.
Who sees it
Only me, Sidra Miconi, who builds FactFrame. Requests are stored in FactFrame's own Cloudflare account, the service that hosts this site, which handles every request on its way in. To reply, I export the requests to a file on my own computer, and my replies go through my email provider. No one else receives them.
Deleting it
Reply to any email from me and ask, and your request is deleted, from Cloudflare and from the copy on my computer. You don't need to give a reason.
The rest of this site
